How do I mirror hard drive c: 18 mb to a new hardrive d: 40 mg in XP and then use D for the primary drive and c for secondary.

Replace hard drive help
Hi,
I have a similar goal as yours. Except, my second drive is external (USB 2.0). I would like to copy the contents (I mean, everything) of my C drive to the external drive, make the external drive bootable, and then mount it internally in place of the C drive. I would appreciate it if you would share your knowledge. Thanks, Barsam |

i believe software such as symantec ghost does just that. it ghosts one drive for backup or you can put it on another drive. ive never used it myself, but ive read about it. there are other ghosting programs that do the same thing.

ide like to know how u can do it, considering that alot of viruses and hackers try to get to ur C: drive b/c the windows crap is there so if u have it on a different drive then theres a much higher chance against hackers and viruses
