Windows Media Player 10 crashes when watching DVD's and AVI's while in Skin view
Everytime I go and try to watch a DVD or AVI in the skin view/mode, I get 5 minutes into the movie and I get an error message. "Windows Media Player has encountered a problem and needs to close"
BUT, if I watch the movie in the regular view/mode with out the skin view, I get no problems and the movie runs fine. <---- Are you only suppose to use the Skin view for Music ? <--- I updated all my codecs at microsoft and got current Divx codecs for my Divx movies. |

if you haven't yet, probably installing Service Pack 2 will ease this problem, else try uninstall reinstall codecpack/wm10/wmvencoder9
btw I heavily recommend using the k-lite mega codecpacks as they prevent weird codec issues you get by downloading these seperately |
