Easy reading of Hex and Binary

Remember a while back I said if I remembered where I read a great article on quick and easy reading of Hex and Binary I'd post the links for you guys? Well I remembered - and here are the links. I could't find the old thread (even using search) where I promised this so I'll just create this new thread and if it's in the wrong place a very nice mod will move it to the proper place.

Hex and Binary for beginners

Number bases - further coverage

More on numbers

These are all good reading in my opinion - and it's even a good refresher for those of us who already knew this stuff but may have learned it a different way.

thanks that's great.

i am doing a post graduate diploma right now in computer administration and am working with hex and binary a lot. as part of my coursework i have to convert assembly language to i386 processor instructions to binary and then to hex so this kind of information is very useful.
