Is it possible to transfer C to an external storage drive

Hi , I was wondering if it is possible to store my whole C drive as a back up on an external drive. And will I still be able to retieve it in case my pc crashes?

If it is possible how do I do it?

Thanks
Danny

Get a program like Acronis True Image www.acronis.com
It will let you take an image of your HD or partition and store it on another HD, write it onto CD(s) or DVD(s) or ZIP(s)and you can restore it back if your PC would crash.
If you want, look also for DriveImage, but in a version from Powerquest, BEFORE it was turned into cripple-ware by Symantec/Norton after they bought it.
