Retrieve data off harddrive after reinstall of win xp??
Hey everyone, I'm ner here. This looks like a great place for information. Looks like I'll be stickin around. Anyway, my buddy is in some major trouble. He has a big project due tomorrow and it's all saved at school. He had it at home but his ssiter reinstalled windows xp, and his file is lost.
Is there a way to retrieve his file? Thank you very much, J-Kite |

Highly unlikely if she installed from scratch.
If she re-installed over the existing XP, the file should still be there. Best bet is to get the copy back from school and continue with that. Then burn it on a CD. |
