Old newbie needs XP ramp up
I've been installing and integrating computers since 1979 (anyone remember Ohio Scientific), but haven't done much in the last 5 years as I've been teaching surround-sound production around the country. Now I'm forced to learn how to deal with Win XP problems on my teaching computers, which have a whole new bunch of recovery problems compared to Win 95 and 97, the last OS's I really worked on.
So here's the trade. Anything you want to know about surround sound production I'll be glad to share with you all. But I really need your help to ramp up on XP recovery issues. Thanks for any suggestions you can throw my way. See my recent posting on a crashed computer with a bad windows/system32/config/system file. JMS |

Welcome To TechSpot! jmsokal. Hopefully, somebody will address your issue in short fashion. Good to see somebody around with a little different background. |
