Hardware problem (hardware not showing up anymore)

Hi all,

While I was away a friend unplugged my wifi usb dongle without using the "safely remove new hardware" function. Now my wifi network connection doesn't appear anymore... and the dongle isn't listed in device manager anymore... I've restarted the pc a few times since it happened

Any ideas (it's kinda urgent)?

Thanks,

Peejay

Make sure that the device is connected as USB devices dont show up unless they are pluged in.

I would need to know what O/S you are running? Windows what ? XP Home, XP Pro, Windows 2000 and so on.. If you did the install when you first bought the device, it is still there. It may have change the setting to accept relocate. But the software is still there... I would need some more info to give you the answers
