Change default e-mail
I want to change my email from outlook express to either incredimail or outlook. When I launch BT it always comes up with oex and when I launch Ie6 no email comes up.I have reset default for oex and inc but no change.I have uninstalled oex through control panel and even removed registry and renamed oex files to old.( when I did that there was an error saying oex not found).I have since repaired my os and got everything back to normal except for oex problem.
Can anyone help. Thanks |

If you are using Windows XP there should be a button in your start menu that says Set Program Access and Defaults. It would be in there where you want to change it.

I forgot to say I tried that as well. However I have solved it.When I am connected to Bt there is an icon(two arrows) and if you right click there is an option to select applications on next connection. It was defaulted to outlook express.
Thanks for your help. GREAT FORUM |
