Omega Drivers for Windows XP 64bit....
Hey guys, new to the site and figured I'd say what up!
Also have a question... I have been using Omega drivers for a while now. Recently built a new PC and am running the Windows XP 64bit O/S.. I am using the ATI Radeon 9800pro 128 Video Card with the 64bit drivers. I loved the Omega drivers because it had a sweet overclocking utility built in. Does anyone know if the Omega Drivers will work with my new 64bit XP opperating system? I emailed omega but haven't got a response back and I can't find anywhere on the Omega site that has any info regaurding this issue. And/or is there a stand alone overclocker that I can use if not? What would you recommend? Thanks in advance! -Christian |

Never mind I figured it out. But for those of you interesed ATI has a 64 bit driver for it's cards and "Radlinker" has a stand alone over clocking utility available also for the 64 bit OS.
Although still in testing phase it worked well for me. Went from stock settings of 105fps (using the CS-Source Stress Test) to slightly over clocking and getting 118avg fps in the same stress test. I left the Radlinker link at home but just Google "Radlinker" and it's the very first link that pops up. Hope this helps.. |
