Hehe, actually my "real" party is tomorrow. I'm sure all of you know what that means

The reason it's not today is we had a football game. We won 18-8, and my birthday was announced. I did pretty good, ended up with a sack and a few tackles.

As for what I got, well a great football game, a new amplifier for my car, and about $100 worth of odd cash. That's from my family, who knows what from my friends...

But thanks guys. It's been great.

You're finally the same age as me. For all of a few months. Mnaha!

Can you do anything extra at 17 in the US? Its drive/shag/get married here.

You can go to NC-17 Movies, and you can go to R movies without an adult...

Happy Belated B'day mate! Sorry for the late reply. As you know I have not been visiting the forums much lately.

Hope you had a good one.

I think it's actually that in essence you have to be 18 to go to an NC-17 movie. It's something like "Noone 17 or under permitted at all."

I can watch R movies though. As if I haven't been already

And no, we don't get anything besides that at 17. Driving comes at 16, shagging is legal anytime (lol) and you need to be 18 to get (legally) married.

it varys by state, I'm sure there is some minimum but I don't think its set by federal government, its set by the states. thats probably why you hear so many varying things on age of consent.

Happy birthday bud. You're not quite legal in the US yet, are you? Then I can't promote your drinking

Yeah, he's at least a year from that and most likely 4 years depending on his state laws.

Nonetheless Veh, sorry I missed it but I WILL tip one for you.

Man, I've got to quit reading last years posts.....well, maybe you ARE legit this year. But I'm still tippin' one for ya'.

ravisunny2 managed to beat that, posting at 11:52am on 9/23 :P

Thanks guys.

20 is a trip of a birthday... not as good as 18 or 21 but also I'm not a teenager anymore... it's pretty daunting. I was told once that you don't really need to be on time for anything till you're 20...

Oh well, I'm getting some money and taken out for dinner and a show by the parents, not a bad deal
