Introducing...

Hello,
I've been using PC's since the 8086 dos machine. I switched jobs in 1986 and had to use a Mac for about 5 years until I convinced the people I work for to switch to the PC platform.

I'm not an expert, but manage to keep things running. I found techspot with a google search for a problem I was having. Got it cleared up. Lots of good info here.

My work PC and main home PC are very similar (home is newer and faster). Posted specs in the profile. Can't work without dual monitors anymore.

I have a dsl line at work. Stuck with dialup (aol) at home.

Bill
