Upgrade to bigger hard drive on Sony VAIO Laptop
I have a Sony VAIO Laptop with 20gb hard drive (partitioned), which is now full.
I want to back up most of the programs and Data and restore it on a new 40GB hard drive,(not partitioned.) in a newly installed XP from the system CD I have a 180GB external firewire hard drive to back up to. What is the best way to do this? And what is the procedure for setting up the new hard drive, once physically installed, ready for new system install. |
