Is Lindows > Windows?
Once I have enough money to fix my AMD Duron, im thinking about getting "Linspire" instead of Windows XP, which i hear is a lot cheaper than Windows XP and is rather "user friendly".
I figure its a lot of work to install an old windows version such as '95 and then get a XP upgrade for $100. I just want to get some feedback from Linspire or Lindows users. If I have a harddrive with files from my old Windows 98 PC, will i be able to run all my programs and access all my files using Linspire? |

Not an answer to your question, but if you have Windows98, then you can install XP directly from the upgrade cd. During the install it will ask you to prove you have a prior copy of Windows (95 isn't supported upgrade) then insert your 98 disk and it will let you clean install XP.
