My Microphone is working on Intel 865, but it's not working on Intel 915GAV is there any compatibility issue or any driver problem, Please let me know...

System specs
Did you check the Volume Control panel in Program Files -> Accessories -> Entertainment to make sure that line in isn't muted?

Reply to Microphone not working...
Hello..

The MicroPhone is muted up by default. Eventhough I enableed it. My Microphone is not working. Then I checked the options again once again it is muted. Why it is happening like this....?

Hi, my microphone is not working on intel915GAV. But it is still working on another system. Is it posseble to work microphone on Intel915GAV.
Please give me a solution.

Go to Control Panel > Sounds and Audio devices > Select VOICE tab > Under Audio Recording selecct " RealTek HD Audio rear Input" from drop down. U did it.

Microphone problem
Yes I did it. But no change. Still Microphone is not working. What can i do now. please tell me.
