general password
Is there a way to activate a general password to gain access to a pc?
I have windows ME and the only password that exsists is to start different sessions but im looking for a general password that wont allow you to do anything at all in the computer. I looked in the bios (award winning modular) and there are options to set an adminstrative password or a user password but these are only to gain acess to the bios itself. |

Anyways, you can use a bootloader that supports passwords and disable booting from floppies and CD-s (BIOS under password too, of course). I'm not going to suggest switching to a more secure OS, that would be just too lame .
