I'm well aware of everst and use it but don't know which program
will report closer to true temps.

There's hardware health in my bios.
BFG 6800 has it's own as well embedded in fOrceware.
Not to mention any fan control digital due hickies with thermal
probes and sensors.
I have two fans that have thier own little probes too.
I'm aware that I'm getting a good average temp report
using all the above..
Can anyone suggest some software I'm not aware of?

Your bios is probably the most accurate temp monitor. You could always try the Speedfan programme from HERE.
