You can get a 9800 Pro or 9800 XT for under $200 at Newegg.com. The XT is better than the 6600 GT and the 9800 Pro is about an even match.

I thought it was the 6600gt was about even with the 9800xt and was better than a 9800pro? I guess it depends on the game.

A 6600gt only costs about $155 now.

HardOCP.com did a comparison of the 9800 Pro and 6600GT and said there wasnt a goo reason to upgrade to the 6600. The 9800 came out on top most of the time. Plus most 9800's and all XT's are 256 bit where the 6600's are 128 bit.
