Sound driver causing to shut down or to freeze.
Running win XP prof Sound card SB 24bit live. Everything is fine for about 10 min and then its ether shuts down or just freezes. When I disable it in device manager everything is fine. What could cause this ? I tried everything ..cant think of it. PLEASE HELP!!!

have you tried the latest SB drivers?

look at your system information (start>accessories) and see if it's conflicting/sharing irq assignments with anything. sometimes soundcards cause hard to track down problems like this because they are part of a resource conflict.

Thx for reply guys. There are no conflicts. everything is fine. Drivers ... seems to be good. where can i get new ones? at sound blaster they dont have them.
Could this be caused by Video card? I think it started when i updated my video drivers too. |
