New GA-8I955X causing BSOD with XP SP2
M/B: GA-8I955X
CPU: Intel Pentium D 840 GFX: ATI Radeon X800 (using omega radeon drivers) Ram: Corsair 2x1gb DDR2-533 HDD: 2x160gb SATA Raid0 on Silicon chip 2 x IDE drives on Gigaraid chip (using standard ide mode/not raid) 1xdvdrw; 1xcdrw on ide3 Hello I have just put this new system together and I am running all the latest drivers from gigabyte and the newest m/b firmware but keep on getting IRQL_Not_Equal_or_less errors in XP. I know it is probably becuase of one of the drivers I am using but can't figure out which device it is. As so many of the devices are "onboard" it means that lots of most devices are sharing irq 16 and there is not much I can do about it. I have run the MS ram checker and it was happy. I have attached some mini-dumps in the hope someobdy could help me out or point me in the direction of the dodgy driver. Thanks Simon |
