the REAL sims 2 system requirements
i wanna buy the sims 2 and the system requirements it suggests on amazon fit my laptop perfectly (P4M 2Ghz, 512MB RAM, 32MB VRAM), but i've been told by all my friends who have superior systems that it doesn't work on the specifications amazon suggests. I was just wondering if any of you guys thought it was a good idea to buy the game with my laptops present specs.?

To put it bluntly..no
Sims 2 is a very graphicly demanding game. Could you get it to run? I would think so. Could you get it to run fast enough to actually play? Not really. You CPU might work ok same with the RAM. But i could not get it to run on my 5200 without freezing. |
