win home laptop bootloop (bsod flashes to fast to read)
Hello people
My buddy just called me to ask a question, I know i've seen the answer here but can't find apparently a neighbor kid was looking at one of those wonderfull pop pop pop pop pop pop pop up web sites This is a laptop for business running win home boot > bsod (to quick to read) > reboot system stuck in loop Computer will start in safe mode but notlast good config my advice was to change mini-dump to fullmem dmp (if not for debug purposes than at least to slow the blue screen down to read) my computer>properties>advanced>settings for startup and recovery> This did nothing i asked for a copy of tthe mini dump but there wasn't one It appears, what ever is wrong reboots before the bsod is recognized any help would be greatly appreciated thanks steyr223 :hotbounce |

Start in safe mode and then have a look in the event logs.

You don't need a quick eye to view the content of blue screen. When Windows crashes with blue screen, it writes a system event 1001 or 1003 and a minidump to the folder \windows\minidump. Check system event 1001 and 1003 and it has the content of the blue screen.
Event ID: 1001 Source: Save Dump Description: The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was : 0xc000000a (0xe1270188, 0x00000002, 0x00000000, 0x804032100). Microsoft Windows..... A dump was saved in: ....... Event Source: System Error Event Category: (102) Event ID: 1003 Description: Error code 1000007f, parameter1 0000000d, parameter2 00000000, parameter3 00000000, parameter4 00000000 Control Panel -> Adminstrative Tools -> Event Viewer -> System -> Event 1001/1003. Copy the content and paste it back here Zip 5 to 6 minidumps to one zip file and attach it here. Techspot has an upper limit of 100K per attachment. I will study the dump and find out the culprit. |

hello thanks for the replys
sorry i take so long went to court today to see my girl (in custody) wouldn't believe who sat next to me --- her old man we had lunch now i can spend a little more time here I had asked my friend to look up the newest file in the minidmp folder and there had not been one written for a few days so i believe it's rebooting before the event is written what is the order (before and after) of the writing a bsod event thanks |
