Windows xp startup BSOD
New to the forum. Please bear with me if there is a similar post somewhere (please let me know the link)
I am running XP SP2 with all the updates current. I got BSOD sometimes when I startup windows xp, but not all the time (1 out of eight tries). Once Windows is started, it can run days without a problem. Error code is 100000c5 most of the time, but sometimes different error code (100000a, 00000019...) also appears. Running "Windows Memory Diagnostic" yields no error. Any help is appreciated! |

I've investigate your minidump. Probably it is faulty ram and you must aware that some faulty ram can pass memtest.
Suggestion 1. Reseat the memory stick to another memory slot 2. Clean the dust within the computer cabinet 3. If it still crashes, take out one memory stick. If it does not crash, the removed memory stick is faulty. |
