How to avoid adding data to Registy while installing Driver?????????
While installing the driver one entry is add in "Services" key for the driver... I don't want to add any data in the Registry while installing the driver...Please send me the procedure asap...

If you don't add any data to the registry then Windows won't know about the driver and all you get would be a couple of files on your disk.
What are you installing the driver for and how are you doing it? |

Hi Nodsu,
Once again Thank Q very much for ur kind advice for accessing Physical Memory through /dev/mem... While installing driver new entry in the services key be added, but as proj spec. no file or any data be added or u can tell me whether any procedure for modifying the data to the Hard- disk i.e using Read Native Max address Last edited by nagamohan_p; 09-15-2005 at 10:03 AM.. |
