Just to warn you im new-ish to hard ware so please go easy anwyay i was searching on net and found a computer which looks really good to me for playing games on. (im talking about games which are around now and ones in the future) But i dont know if its too good to be true at the low pirce of £1150! dosnt have a monitor tho anyway this is its specs and the questions will be after.

Now to me that looks really really good for games (it also allows you to add another graphics card) I think. any way heres my questions

1) is AMD process good for carrying out day to day tasks like video editing (home movies) word processing etc.

2) will this be able to play games which come out in 2 or 3 years time?

3: will i be able to add hard drives?

4: is there anything else i need to know?

5: is it worth the price? anyway thank you so much for any help you can give

6: will i be able to add other drives like DVD-ROM?

2) no one knows.
3) probably since the board has 4 sata connectors in all (one which is probably used by the IBM drive listed)
4) bread & butter tastes good.
5) it depends on the warranty.
6) probably, the board can have 4 IDE devices in all & there's only one right now (the DVD burner).

see what it is, is a guy in town says he can make a good pc for about £1000 (with out monitor) which has 2 graphic cards a AMD processor 3600+ i think and so on. But i dont know which to get! this one sounds better as it is a 4000+ (4.0ghz?) just i dont wana spend another £1000 in 3 years just so i can play newer games wouldnt be too bad if it was upgradeable i suppose thank for your help x

Yes, most definately.

The 7800GTX is the best vid card on the planet and the AMD64 4000+ with the GigaBit mobo is also excellent. Not sure if your RAM is an issue, don't know the brand. With AMD64 CPUs, it's all about latency, 2-2-2-5-7 is the best on the market, so look up your RAM specs.
This is a minor point and is more for the Extreme OCers out there.

With SLI mobos in the future you can buy a second 7800GTX and use dual vid cards to trash gaming opponents. Also mobo can go to 4GB of RAM.

What PSU does it come with? You're gonna need at least 550W, best to go with 600W. Make sure the 12V has at least 26-30amps. Also maybe in future get a faster HDD like the WD Raptor or even higher.(15KRPM is coming soon).

Didou: Is that bread toasted?

This computer is one of the best that you can have get it.

Of course you could just spend thousands and thousands on a computer that would be very good but becides spending over $5000 this a great.
