using avertv usb2.0 tvtuner with dell inspiron 2650 laptop
hi.
i am having a problem using the avertv usb2.0 tv tuner and avermedia plus software with my dell inspiron 2650 laptop. basically i can't open the "tv monitor" window of the application and the tv/video source/play/record/channelbuttons are disabled on the avermedia software interface. i have installed the driver for the tvtuner device and configured the audio video and channel settings as instructed. i am using windows xp sp2. my laptop uses usb (1.1) but i was informed before purchasing that this would not be a problem with the usb2.0 tvtuner. i am concerned that the problem is something to do with my graphics card or display or their drivers. can anyone shed some light on what the problem might be? other system info: processor: mobile (intel) pentium(R)4-M; 2 ghz. vga card: chip set: dell 2650. driver version 2.9.6.3 Video Controller: NVIDIA GeForce GO100 Display type: XGA Video type: external 4XAGP discreet graphis solution NV11. any help would be really appreciated. thanks. |
