REAL basic question - how are fans measured?
How do I determine if I've got i.e. an 80 or 90mm fan?
Is the blade diameter measured, or distance between screw mounting holes - diagonal or across, or ??? Thanks!! |

It`s the distance from one side of the fan housing to the otherside.
See Pic. I hope this helps. Regards Howard ![]() Last edited by howard_hopkinso; 04-12-2007 at 08:27 PM. |

Thanks, Howard!
I finally figure it out by looking at online ads for fans - it clicked when they described them as i.e. 80mm x 80mm. Step by Step I'm learning :bounce: Marriage is grand Divorce is 40 grand |
