Thermal Alert

One of my coworkers booted up his computer and it said something about a 'thermal alert'. After displaying the error message and prompting the user to enter a key to continue, it would shut off continually. After a few more shutdowns, the computer finally booted into the OS. Just wondering if anyone knows what this is. I've never heard of it before. Thanks!!

Open up the box and check the fans are running properly. While you have it open it would be worth blowing any crud out.
