Have you tried to update your video drivers and just as importantly oyur mobob chipset drivers? Also a classic symptom of crashing when gaming is an under powered system. What PSU do you have?
Also post back with your PC specs. We need more info. Cheers, |

Hi Wild,
This is hardware problem. Probably it is overheat, faulty CPU or video card. Check the temperature of your AMD CPU. Unlike Intel CPU, AMD CPU does not have thermal protection. ok i am unsure as to how to check my temp? i have a lcd readout on the front of the PC that reads somewhere between 28 and 30 degrees Celsius
i doubt it would be the vid card as this is a brand new card. |

Hi Wild,
Maybe it is related to TV card. I have one confirmed case the culprit is TV card and one case is still opened. http://www.techspot.com/vb/showthrea...162#post174162 |

Yes it is a hardware failure but this can be caused by out dated drivers, which cause the OS to crash releasing a bug report which looks like a hardware failure (HWF). So is it a real HWF or a software HWF?
Have you updated your mobo chipset drivers and ensured you have enough Amps in PSU to run your rig? System specs will help. |

http://www.lavalys.com/ But once again I suggest to check your PSU and make sure it has at least 22A on the 12V output and 40A on the 5V output. Read this off the label on the side of your unit. (ie. Grey box where the power cord attaches). Also update your motherboard chipset drivers, thios is very important, and your video card drivers form the manuf. websites. Run the above program to find the mobo specs and chipset drivers, probably nforce2 or 3. Cheers, |
