just out of the box..

i just got my new pc, built to order by a local store. looks shiny and stuff, but actually scores lower in 3dmark03 than my last machine. and thats just not right.

in the new rig i have:
AMD64 3800+ dual core
Asus A8N-SLI deluxe
1gb kingston
and a 7800 GTX card.

reads nice, but only scoring c2900.i know it can do a damn sight better, but at a loss as to what to do to it.

can anyone point me in the right direction? i can post any other info required

thanks

You should be getting 20-30000. When ever Ive gotten low scores with that bench mark it was because the video driver wasnt installed right. Nvidia just realeased a new driver- 81.95.
