How do I add a screenshot to my post?

I have IrfanView & am trying to add a saved screenshot to a posting. I wonder if I should attach it as jpg or gif & then check it in preview of post?

Save the file in the jpeg format.

When posting, click on the manage attachments button. browse to where you saved the file, and open it. Click on the upload file button.

Please note. techspot hase a limit of 100kB for attachments, so you may need to resize the jpeg to fit.

Regards Howard

To make the screenshot, just press the Print Screen key, open Irfanview and select Edit/Paste.
Then position your cursor on the top-left corner of the bit you want to show, hold the left mouse button down, and pull down and right. You'll see a rectangle on the screen. Let go of the mouse button when you have the proper cut-out. Start again if you don't get it right straight away. When satisfied, in Irfanview click on Edit/Crop selection.
Then click on File/Safe as xxx.jpg and attach that to your post.
