Support for Files Recorded with XP Media Center Edition

Microsoft has released a supplement to update the Stream Buffer Engine (SBE) & Encryptor/Decryptor (EncDec) components that are included with Windows XP Service Pack 1 (SP1). If you want to play files that were recorded in Windows XP Media Center Edition (.dvr-ms files) on a PC that is running Windows XP SP1, download the update from the Microsoft Windows Update Web site. This update may also be referred to as the "Windows XP TV Performance" update.

To download this update, visit the Microsoft Windows Update Web site.
