RIVA TNT 64 - 32 MB RAM in Bios 16 MB shown by Windows XP
How it can be!
First thing I see during boot is displayed text with name of card, card BIOS version and 32 MB RAM. After XP is loaded in graphic card properties I see only 16 MB! I wonder if anybody had such problem and what I can do to make Windows recognize full memory of graphic card? Card BIOS version is 2.05.13.03.00. |

This card may share some of your normal ram. Check that the pc's actual ram.
That would mean it could be 16MB personal + 16MB shared from pc ram = 32 |

Sorry. I have got to learn to read my own posts propperly before I post them. I meant check your ram and see if it's a strange number, different to what you should have.

Uhm...
Tks for reply SCHUMIinSA!
That's not the case, I mean sharing memory with PC RAM. Card memory should be shown in OS same as reported during boot. Unfortunately it's not. I think that resources of card memory are overlapping with some reserved range used by system. |

I see. Well maybe you could just try to re-install the card like you must have done when you first got it.
