No idea which drivers i need

Ok heres the deal, ive got this laptop and recentley installed WinXP pro on it but im missing 3 drivers Multimedia Audio Controller, PCI Modem and Video Controller.

i cannot connect to the internet with this laptop so is there a kind of "offline driver database" thingy that can scan your systemn and determine which drivers you require.

THIS LAPTOP IS ABOUT 2YEARS OLD SO THE DRIVERS SHOULD JUST BE PRETTY BASIC.

please anyhelp or advice is greatly appreciated.

cheers, Luke

The make/model of your laptop determines what drivers you need. Do you know the make/model number? If you can give us that, we can point you in the right direction.

You could then download them on a computer that has internet access, save them on a CD-RW and then load them into your laptop.

Alright, let's see what we can do.

Download this:
http://www.techspot.com/downloads/27-cpu-z.html

and save it to a floppy or CD-RW and then run the program on your laptop. See what kind of info it gives us about your motherboard.
