will lowering vCore cause much instabillity?

I am currently running my xp2100+ at 1.75mV , 133FSB---->1.73gHz.

I lowered the vCore to 1.725 and the temps droped by about 2*C
everything seemed to work fine but I didn't really do anything heavy in these settings yet.
Do you think it will hinder the performance if I keep it on 1.725?

Also what is your experience with fan adaptors? I am thinking of getting a 80mm fan for my hs.

If I were you I wouldn't lower my VCore just for a cooler CPU. It's not worth it, and your CPU is being underpowered, which does not work. Be careful, I doubt your system would remain stable with a lower VCore under stress. I strongly reccomend you just to run it at stock speeds.

It could possibly cause instabillity. The only way to know for sure is to try it out with lots of different tasks. From undervolting you can't really damage the CPU. Unless your really running too hot I would just leave it at default voltage. No reason to have the possibility of instability for the sake of 2C.

Ok thanks for the advice.
Put the bios on auto and letting it take care of itself...hehe
I was juust messing around anyway.

What about those adaptors? any experiences?
Is there a simpler way to fit an 80mm fan on a 60mm hs?
