Can you make a Windows Workstation into a server?

Hi, I have many computers on my net work and I wanted to know if it was possible to make it so on the login screen if the client, you type in your username and password and select the remote computer and login to it throught the network. It's kind of like remote desktop connection but right at the logon screen. Thanks, Matt

You need the Windows Terminal Server for that. Or some unix-like OS which have had the feature builtin since the dawn of times
