Looks like everyone's best friend, Microsoft, are in antitrust trouble AGAIN! This time, The European Commission has two main targets, those being a) server software, and b) media player.

"It's concluded that Microsoft is giving itself preferential treatment in links between desktop and server operating systems, and that it should therefore order Microsoft to give its rivals more information."

"The Media Player issue differs in that the argument is really the old bundling/integration one we saw over Internet Explorer."

"The experts have proposed two major requirements: making Microsoft share more proprietary information with its rivals and uncoupling its Media Player audiovisual software from the Windows operating system, sources said."

And no, I don't think telling M$ that they're being bad is punishment is enough....

sheesh how do you folks expect a guy to accumulate 38 billion in personal fortune and not use underhanded tactics and violate anti trust laws? why if he did everything fair he might be worth only a couple of billion and have to slum it.
