no video card graphics nor online graphics

I recently got a bare bones system that I have put together. When I turn on the computer though, there is no video at all. The fans and lights and harddrives and the LCD on the front of the case all come on, but my moniter doesn't seem to be getting a signal of any kind. There is no sound like the beeps that would say that it is going through the boot up process. I have checked this computer out on another moniter, as well as testing the video card in another computer. Same results with the moniter and the video card works fine in the other computer. It is a Asus K8V-MX motherboard and an AMD Sempron 3100+ processor. I was extremly careful with these so there would be no electrostatic discharge. I obviously cannot change the BIOS as I can't see them, so does anyone have any suggestions for me? Thanks a lot. ~P~

Hello! Welcome to TechSpot!

What is the ram & psu make and model?
Try clearing the cmos, per MoBo book.
First check to see that you used MoBo's stand off's correctly and
that the MoBo is not shorting out on the case.
Do a bare setup, only the essentials. Can be done with or without case.

1.cpu heatsink/fan
2.MoBo
3.1 stick of known good ram
4.video card
5. keyboard
6.monitor

Un-hook all power & data cables (except the power to MoBo)
remove all addin cards.
This is just to get you to the bios screen.
Failing this, try booting without any ram just to see if you get any error
beep codes, same with video card.

This should help getting some trouble shooting in order.
G'Luck and let us know.
