Couple of questions for you first:

1. Are you looking to build your own or to buy a "premade" system?
2. What is your budget (please give a specific budget).
3. What does your budget need to include? Monitor, windowsXP, keyboard/mouse etc. What do you have, and what do you need (specifics).

Best for gamming, now I know your thinking why so small in capacity and expensive. Like I said it's for gamming and compared to a 7200 rpm drive this 10000rpm drive is way faster for loading maps, and what not like on bf2, css, This is a must have

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811133132

A very nice, easy to use case.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817148008

and something to power it all

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824116375

Vey good for gamming must have, 2ms response

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827106013

To Install the game

This will destory the computation

http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/system/cfga64x2.asp?v=d

Change the parts around until you have these:

$1418.00

CASE : HOT NEW! X-Discovery Mid-Tower Case 420W W/ WINDOW & LCD Temperature Display (Silver Color)
CPU : (939-pin) AMD Athlon™64 X2 3800+ Dual-Core CPU w/ HyperTransport Technology
MOTHERBOARD : (939-pin Socket) Gigabyte GA-K8NF-9 nForce4 Chipset MB w/ LAN, USB2.0, IEEE, & AUDIO
MEMORY : 1024 MB (512MBx2) PC3200 400MHz Dual Channel DDR MEMORY (Corsair Value Select)
VIDEO CARD : NEW !!! NVIDIA Geforce 7600 GT 256MB PCI Express x16 Video Card
VIDEO CARD 2 : NONE
LCD Monitor : ViewSonic VA912B 19" COLOR TFT Active Matrix SXGA LCD Display Monitor
HARD DRIVE : Gaming Hard Drive (10,000RPM SATA150) (SATA150 - Western Digital Raptor 74GB 10,000RPM 8MB Cache WD740GD)
Hard Drive 2 : NONE
Optical Drive : (Special Price) LG GWA-4161 16X DVD±R/±RW + CD-R/RW DRIVE DUAL LAYER (BEIGE COLOR)
Optical Drive 2 : NONE
SOUND : HIGH DEFINITION ON-BOARD 7.1 AUDIO

Change the motherboard to the Gigabyte one that doesn't have SLi and is only a few bucks more. Get 3 extra fans if you want. Get the **Cyberpower recommended** power supply (second one) The system I listed there has a 19inch Viewsonic monitor.
It is also future-proof because it has a dual-core processor. It will run CS:S at highest settings and games that are coming in the future (Especially counterstrike games since that is the series you are interested I think) :bounce: Add anything else you want.

Yo Crossfire851, we used mostly same parts and posted at the exact same time (You posted a few seconds before me, check if you want) which is really cool because we have alot in common when it comes to choosing parts (We both chose the 74GB 10,000RPM raptor, 3800+ X2, 1GB Corsair RAM, 7600GT which is pretty much everything important lol.

EDIT: OMG WE USED THE SAME MONITOR TOO

I am looking for a premade computer. About my budget, I have about $500-$600 to spend right now.
I do not need a moniter, keyboard, mouse, or an operating system.

Hmm, a gaming system eh? In that case you'll need a respectable video card. Here's an eVGA 6800GS, it should handle CS:S on highest settings I think. Not sure though.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130271

You'll need a CPU for sure. A 3200+ should handle CS:S well. Just remember to upgrade to dual-core when you have the money.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103535

You'll need 1GB RAM. Corsair is good.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145505

A 10,000RPM Raptor as a hard drive is blazingly fast.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822144160

Ha, I missed out the motherboard. This one averages 5 stars and there are 207 reviews and most of em are 5 stars.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131569

Hmm, don't you need something to put all that awesome stuff in? How about one with a power supply?!!? Yeh that'll be good.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811129155

All together, it's about 700$, this is an amazing bang-for-buck system. A 6800GS, a 3200+, a 74GB 10,000RPM Raptor, 1GB Corsair Value Select RAM, Antec Smartpower 450W power supply included in the case. WHAT MORE COULD YOU ASK FOR? That is, for that kind of money, an AMAZING system. And it's pretty cheap too. It took me some valuable time to put this system up. Alot of customizing and meeting your gaming needs. I'll be disappointed if you don't buy this. Please do. I like seeing happy gamers with their cheap-but-amazing systems customized by someone else :unch: (OWNED) But I'm stuck with my Pentium III 800Mhz processor(Some processors have FSB speeds higher than this LOL)256mb ram and a AIW 32mb video card. Come on pleeaaaaaaase buy this. You'll be amazed by the speed it offers for that price. I guarantee it. :knock:

Well...you gonna buy it?!!?!?!? By the way, I think almost every part I recommended to you has average of 5 stars. So now you see that I took the best of the best of the cheapest and picked em out 1 by 1 for you Now buy it so you can start building :knock: Don't forget to tell me how FAST and high the performance is and the FPS you get on CS:S at highest settings (Or the highest settings playable with the amount of fast-paced gameplay you need) :bounce: This is the best system I've ever made up for someone. (I think it's the only one though )

Oh crap wait a sec, I forgot the DVD/CD ROM/Writer. Here, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827152059 Heh, I started writing this up before you posted "What optical drive should I get?" LOL. Also, don't you need a card reader? Like the floppy one. Hmm, this card reader scored an average of 5 stars out of 100 reviewers. Only 10 bucks. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16821103202
All the parts I listed, together it should cost about 750$, maybe 800 with taxes? Maybe more? Who cares The point is that computer owns
