We need more smileys

I miss the real animated ones like the bouncing fire guy, the hammer guy, the puking guy, and the waving guy so we could welcome new members to the forums

One can always link an animated gif or other icon from elsewhere, just like Arris did (but is it worth it, that's another story).

about the smilies, some smily codes doesn't have a " : " at the end (ie. : grinthumb). was that done on purpose?

Not on purpose but the smilie code is limited to 10 characters.
