Upgrading laptops
Hi,
Newbie here. I'm looking at replacing my old laptop at last (life is getting kinda hard with a P2 366!) and am keen not to get caught again with one where the cpu is not upgradable. With this in mind I was thinking of getting an Acer 5002WMLI, but their support desk told me it wasn't possible to do this. I've built a few desktops in the past but have never tried messing with the innards of a laptop, and I get the impression that this is not straightforward. Can someone please enlighten me as to whether this is a simple process or not. Any response gratefully received. |

Hello! Welcome to TechSpot!
In general where laptop are concernded, Ram is the only real
upgrade offered. There are rare instances, like your P2 366, you may be able to upgrade that cpu but not likely the acer line of laptops. |
