Hi Spike,

I'm newtopc's sister and yes that is megabytes. I'm stumped and feel rather silly for not knowing the answer!

I make that to be 699.051 kiloBits/second

Which I guess is 700

5mb * 1024 * 1024= 5242880 bytes
5242880 * 8 = 41943040 bits

41943040 / 60 = bits per second = 699050 and a third bits/s

699050 and a third / 1000 = 699.05066 kbits/s

Is that answer any good to you?
