SiS planning 800MHz FSB P4 chipsets

SiS has issued a press release indicating they are in the talks with Intel for a new license that would let them produce and sell new chipsets that would support Pentium 4's upcoming 800MHz quad-pumped FSB. With VIA finally being able to enter the P4 chipset market, it's for sure SiS will want to maintain their P4 product line alive and kicking.

Currently, SiS is in the process of negotiation with Intel for the new-generation chipset license and the Company expects to have final result in a short period of time. Regarding the relationship between Intel and other company, it is inappropriate for SiS to make any comments at this juncture.
