CPU High Temperature

I did a google search and did a forum search. I even went to AMD website but couldn't find my answer. I just wanted to know what the max temp should be on my CPU without it getting fried or damaged. I know each CPU is different which is why I am trying to find something specific to mine. At idle it sits at 27C and when I run games on it (Sims 2, Painkiller, FEAR) It jumps up to about 55C after about 2 hours of play. Thanks in advance.
