Mandrake needs community support...

Mandrake is currently in a tight financial situation. and are asking it's users to help...

It is offering a "Mandrake Linux Users Club" where members pay 5$ (and upwards) per month, and thus helps mandrake to stay alive...

All Club members will get some manner of special treatment in exchange, depending on the level of commitment offered.

I guess Mandrake isn't spared the current bad financial times. Reminds me of what Slashdot is doing now. Placing banner ads in their articles; just saw one big IBM ad today.
