speeze ee-hd01 hard drive cooler fitted to hdd but hdd not fitting in bay

today i bought a speeze ee-hd01 hard drive cooler + fitted it to my hard drive(samsung sp2504c 250gb 8mb sata hdd) when i tried to put it back into my hard drive bay it wouldnt fit. i think the screws connecting the cooler to the hard drive were hitting off the runners on the bay. to get it to fit i had to bend the runners on the bay so it would go in + i could screw the hard drive to the chassis.....does anyone know why this didnt just slide in + if it will be ok that ive bent the runners...thank you

System specs
As long as it's pretty solid you won't have any problems you just don't want it moving around in the case.
