Clean install after graphics card upgrade
Is it vitally necassery to do a re-install of xp after upgrading a graphics card?
or can i just remove the graphics drivers, take the old card out put new card in and install latest drivers agen with no problems? thanks in advance. |

No, you don`t need to reinstall XP.
Remove your current videocard drivers and reboot your computer. Shut down the computer and disconnect from the mains. Disconnect the monitor and remove your current video card. Insert your new videocard and reconnect the monitor. Reconnect to the mains and start your computer. Once in Windows, Install the new drivers. Regards Howard
