Need your opinion on HEATSINK (intel 775)
Hi,
I have a heating problem. I have to buy a new heatsink for an INTEL P4 (775) Here's my config. Mobo : Assus P5B deluxe Wifi CPU : 3.2ghz HT, socket 775 (STOCK HEATSINK) with Arctic Silver 5 RAM : CORSAIR 2gig -> 2 x 1gig VDO : Leadtek 7600GT 256mo HDD : 1 WD Raptor 10000rpm 36.4gig HDD : 2 Maxtor 250gig SATA DVDRW : 2 DVD burner LG 16x multi format With the stock fan of Intel. No CPU usage : 44C Regular CPU usage (Surfing Internet, Office and MSN) 51C High CPU usage (Games, extracting files while burning DVDs) 59C I need something efficiant. Here's what i'm looking for. - Doesn't have to be very very QUIET but....under 28db PLZ - NO WATER cooling (don't want to spend that much money) - Looking for something that will make a huge difference in temperature. looking for AT LEAST 6 degres of difference. My guess is right now ZALMAN or THERMALTAKE but witch one will make a big difference on my setup. Thanks |

man, I got a coolermaster Hyper 48 on a 2.8 prescott overclocked to 3.5 daily, this thing get's HOT.and the coolermaster keeps it below 52 while running 3dmark05, is that cool enough? you can pick those up for about 30 or 40 bucks.
