audio device driver VAIO pcv rx450 on win98
help!
i cannot figure out what audio device driver this uses. when i reinstalled system (win98) audio no longer worked. cannot find driver (don't know which one it is?) on install disk. anyone know which driver it might be? thnx, kara |

Hello and welcome to Techspot.
The only audio driver I can find for your model is this one HERE. However, it`s meant for Windows 2000 not 98. In fact I can find no drivers on the sony site for your model that support Windows 98. Here is the main page for your models drivers. It asks you to choose your os, but only gives you the choice of ME/200/XP No 98. Regards Howard ![]()

thanks howard - i googled it and found an older version.
now i cannot get my dvd or music cds to play... though cdroms work... |
