Mpeg-2 type help

Ok I want to grab a selected scene from a anime dvd I own, I already decrypted it to my Hd. I tried Vdub, but it did not work cause its a Mpeg-2 type file, what program would be best to use for mpeg-2?

Try "Virtual Dub" - free and professional with loads of other features if you need them.
