Need Help with a Tape Drive driver
I need some help finding a windows 98 driver for a seagate scorpion STD28000N DDS-2 tapedrive. I don't know alot about this drive as it has been sitting in my basement for years but here is what I do know. It is a 50-pin SCSI drive. The model number is STD28000N. This is a DDS2 drive. The P/N is 70101816-002. The SBU NO. is 10002775-001.

I doubt you will find any specific drivers for Win98, since SCSI tape storage is a business-class thing and geared for Windows NT and friends.
Then again, SCSI tape interface is quite standard and all kinds of tape software could work with the drive without any extra drivers. |

Thanks. I found a program that recignises it without drivers. I have found lot's of win NT, 2000, XP drivers but aparently they never made one for 98. Well It works fine with the program EaseBackup the only disadvantage Is that I must use the program to access the drive. Thanks again for the help.
